Other parts from this book by Paul Milbourne: 'Rural Poverty: Marginalisation and exclusion in Britain and the United States' can be found here. The book was written in the early 90's so the statistics are not current but the bits that I read are informative and easy to understand. A wealth distribution survey was created using the statistics gathered from 13 areas in Britain, also examining effectivity of social improvement within rural communities.
Something I will come back to.
